Corporate and Transactional

The corporate and transactional attorneys at Roeser Bucheit & Graham have extensive experience handling matters for businesses and individuals throughout Illinois.

Real Estate
Our real estate attorneys handle a wide variety of real estate transactions, ranging from commercial and residential purchases and sales, commercial leases, options to purchase, and rights of first refusal. We devote the time, care and attention necessary to help our clients meet their specific goals with any given transaction in an efficient and cost-effective manner, drawing on a depth of knowledge and experience to make the process as smooth as possible. Our attorneys will negotiate, draft and review contracts, leases, options and other types of agreements; review, analyze and resolve title and survey issues; and draft, review and revise deeds, bills of sale, closing statements, escrow agreements and other closing documents. We are also available to counsel clients after a transaction is closed to ensure a seamless transition from one property to the next.

Business Organization and Planning
Our attorneys work with individuals in the formation of various different types of businesses and business entities, including corporations, s-corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships. We counsel clients from the initial entity selection stage, through business formation and organization to business operation and growth. We also counsel and advise clients in asset purchases and sales and other business transactions. Our goal is to effectively and efficiently help clients achieve their business objectives, and will tailor our representation to best fit each client’s needs.

Estate Planning: Wills, Trusts and Estates
Our estate planning practice begins with an initial meeting to assess individual and family needs and client objectives. The tools we often recommend and have extensive experience preparing for clients to create a comprehensive estate plan are: wills, joint living trusts, individual living trust, powers of attorney for health care and property and living wills. We will also guide clients through the process of selecting guardians, executors, trustees, agents and other fiduciaries, and then counsel those trusted individuals if and when the time comes for them act. Our attorneys also counsel executors and trustees in relation to the administration of probate and trust estates. In the event that litigation arises, RBG Attorneys are skilled in representing clients in trusts and estate disputes.
