Zach Rustad is a corporate attorney and principal of Roeser Bucheit & Graham LLC. For over a decade Zach has provided legal counsel to Chicago’s small businesses, entrepreneurs, and individuals on issues ranging from commercial and residential real estate transactions (representing buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants), estate planning, probate, and a myriad of legal and business issues facing new businesses. He has represented directors, officers, and shareholders in corporate disputes over the operation and control of the company’s affairs, advised on fiduciary duties and provided counsel on issues of corporate governance. While Zach has drafted hundreds of real estate contracts, leases, operating agreements, LLC agreements, trusts, wills, employment covenants, asset purchase agreements, buy/sell agreements, and other corporate agreements during his career – he understands that no two matters and no two clients are the same and he takes pride in servicing the individual needs of each client and doing so with the professionalism and personal attention they deserve.
Before joining Roeser Bucheit & Graham, Zach was the founder and principal of Rustad Law LLC, where he successfully represented family owned businesses, entrepreneurs and individuals in a variety of different legal matters. Zach began his legal career at a general practice law firm where, in addition to working on a variety of transactional matters, he also gained significant litigation experience which gives him a unique perspective to bring to his real estate and small business clients.
